The NCAA women’s Division I soccer committee has recommended to the NCAA executive committee that it name eight conferences to receive automatic bids for their champions into this year’s NCAA Division I Tournament: ACC, Big East, Big 10, CAA, Ivy League, Pacific 10, SEC and WCC.
This will be the first time the NCAA has used automatic bids in the women’s championship.
