A full slate of Top 25 women's action is scheduled despite the effects of Hurricane Isabel on the East Coast.

No. 1 North Carolina, which used all 27 players in a 9-0 win over tiny Guilford Wednesday, travels to nearby Durham, site of the Duke adidas Classic, which also features No. 22 Duke, No. 6 Texas and unranked Richmond.

No. 2 Notre Dame puts its unbeaten record on the line when it faces No. 10 Santa Clara and No. 16 Stanford at the Santa Clara/adidas Classic. No. 6 Texas faces No. 13 Portland and No. 20 Washington at the latter's Husky Invitational.

No. 11 Tennessee beat William Mary, 2-1, at the Maryland/adidas Classic Thursday. The game kicked off at 10 a.m., due to the arrival of Hurricane Isabel later in the afternoon. The game was played with 25-30 mile per hour wins forcing the game to be played low to the ground at times. Rain held off until just after the game.

The host Terps beat Loyola, Md., 1-0 on Wednesday. The tournament had been moved up to avoid conflicts with Sunday's USA-Sweden World Cup match at Washington's RFK Stadium.
