The Kansas City Wizards signed Argentine forward Dario Fabbro, 25, as a discovery player. Fabbro, a native of Buenos Aires, played with the Wizards during their spring training visit to Argentina in early March. He scored twice and assisted once in two games with the Wizards. Fabbro fills the Wizards 18th and final senior roster position. He will be classified as a senior international, which fills the team’s three foreigner spots, along with Gary Glasgow (Trinidad) and Stephen Armstrong (South Africa). Fabbro most recently played for Ecuador’s Emelec, for which he appeared in the 2000 Merconorte Cup. He has also played for Concepcion of Chile, and Huracan of Argentina.
