Dayak ($1,500) and Ruiz ($250) fined for postgame dust-up

The MLS's Disciplinary Committee fined San Jose defender Troy Dayak $1,500 for ''aggressive, confrontational behavior'' and Los Angeles forward Carlos Ruiz $250 for his role in the altercation.

According to MLS's statement:

''As the teams entered the tunnel at halftime of the Earthquakes' 2-0 road loss at The Home Depot Center to the Los Angeles Galaxy on Nov. 1, Dayak initiated aggressive physical contact with Ruiz by pushing him in the back. A scuffle ensued and was quickly broken up.''
