FIFA: Hamm, Akers named to Pele's 'greatest living player list'

Mia Hamm and Michelle Akers were the only women and the only U.S. players have named to ''The FIFA 100'' — a list commemorating the 100 greatest living soccer players chosen by Pele and approved by FIFA.

Hong Myung-Bo, the Los Angeles Galaxy's South Korean defender, is the only MLS player on the list.

Former MLS players on the list were Hristo Stoitchkov (Bulgaria), Carlos Valderrama (Colombia), Lothar Matthaeus (Germany) and Hugo Sanchez (Mexico).
