Scoring champion Greg Howes, the only player listed on all 40 ballots, is one of three Milwaukee Wave selections to the All-Major Indoor Soccer League team announced Tuesday.
Howes, who led the MISL is goals (57) and points (85), is joined by teammates Todd Dusosky (on the first team) and goalkeeper Dan Green (second team) after receiving 39 first-team votes and one second-team mention. Howes and Dusosky are repeat first-team selections from last season.
The Philadelphia Kixx also was honored with three All-MISL selections, with goalkeeper Peter Pappas and defender Pat Morris receiving first-team mentions and forward Don D'Ambra selected to the second team.
Baltimore Blast forward Carlos Farias and Monterrey Fury defender Genoni Martinez complete the first team. The second team includes Baltimore's Denison Cabral, the Championship MVP last season, and 2001-02 and 2002-03 MISL MVP Dino Delevski, one of two players honored from the Kansas City Comets.
Baltimore leads Milwaukee, two games to none, in the best-of-five MISL Championship series. Game 3 will be played Saturday in Baltimore.
