If and when Jose Mourinho is successful in his apparent wish to succeed Sir Alex Ferguson at the helm of Manchester United, he might lose his best player in the process, suggests The Daily Mirror.
Giving credence to a suggested feud between Cristiano Ronaldo and the current Inter Milan coach, the 2008 World Player of the Year snapped, “I don’t want to speak about Jose Mourinho. If you ask me about Sir Alex, I will tell you something, but I don’t care what happens with Mourinho. Ronaldo’s remarks followed the Red Devils’ 2-0 win in the Champions League round of 16.
Known to be highly sensitive about his meager upbringing on Portugal’s Madeira Island, Ronaldo’s dispute with Mourinho reportedly stems from comments the former Porto coach made calling out the 23-year-old playmaker’s “lack of education.”
