Colorado waived former No. 1 draft pick Tahj Jakins and is currently at the league-mandated size of 20 players, not including Project-40 player Seth Trembly, who does not count against the roster. Jakins, a defender, was the first player drafted overall in the 1997 MLS college draft. He played in 61 games for Colorado since that season, including one appearance in 2000, a 57-minute stint off the bench on March 25.
