The Columbus Crew continued its wheeling and dealing, picking up veteran Robin Fraser from Colorado for the Crew's 16th overall pick in Friday's SuperDraft and a conditional 2005 pick.
Fraser has played in MLS since its inception in 1996. he's a four-time MLS Best XI selection and was Defender of the Year in 1999. He spent four years each in Los Angeles and Colorado.
the Crew also announced the retirement of goalie Tom Presthus, who appeared in 106 games in seven MLS seasons with D.C. United and Crew. An elbow injury put his future in doubt. He will remain in the Columbus area, where he has accepted a position as a planner.
