D.C. United vs. Los Angeles Galaxy
Date: Sunday, Oct. 20.
Location: Foxboro Stadium.
Kickoff: 3:30 p.m. (ET).
Television: ABC.
PROBABLE STARTING LINEUPS
D.C. United — Simpson, Peay, Pope, Agoos, Gori, Williams, Harkes, Maessner, Etcheverry, Diaz Arce, Moreno.
Los Angeles — Campos, Vanney, Onalfo, Fraser, Semioli, Salcedo, Armas, Cienfuegos, Jones, Razov, Hurtado.
Los Angeles Notes
Los Angeles will be without captain Dan Calichman, who will miss the match after picking up his third yellow card in last Sunday’s win in Kansas City…. The loss of Calichman is a severe blow to the league’s top defense during the playoffs (the Galaxy has allowed just three goals in five playoff games, an 0.60 average)…. Defender Mark Semioli is listed as probable despite a herniated abdominal muscle, while Arash Noamouz has aggravated a knee injury that hampered him for much of the season and is questionable for the match…. Jorge Campos will have to elevate his game…. Greg Vanney has been the hot man lately for L.A., notching gamewinners in both games of the Kansas City series…. Jorge Salcedo and Eduardo Hurtado were the Galaxy’s top guns in their three matches with D.C. during the regular season — each scored a pair of goals.

D.C. United Notes
Bruce Arena’s club has been the top offensive team in the MLS playoffs…. D.C. leads in goals, shots, and shots on goal, and Salvadoran striker Raul Diaz Arce tops all playoff participants with six goals and 13 points…. With Jaime Moreno also up front and Steve Rammel coming off the bench, the Los Angeles defense will face a stiff challenge…. Midfielder Richie Williams played a big role in D.C’s 2-1 victory in Tampa last Saturday, notching a goal and an assist to propel United to the Eastern Conference crown.
