Ronald Cerritos and Shavar Thomas scored early goals to lead the Dallas Burn to its first road win of the season, a 2-1 triumph over New England.

In the fourth minute, Jason Kreis' short-range shot off a Joselito Vaca cross was parried by Revs keeper Adin Brown to Cerritos, who finished his third goal of the season. Kreis set up Thomas nine minutes later after working a give-and-go with Brad Davis following a short corner kick.

The Burn played a man down after Thomas received his second yellow in the 67th minute. New England was lucky not have have gone a man down in the 34th minute, when Daouda Kante hauled down Kreis after he stripped Kante and headed toward the goal. The red-card offense drew only a yellow from referee Michael Kennedy.
