Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder Steve Jolley has undergone arthroscopic knee surgery and will be out for three to four weeks. The 23-year-old suffered the injury during practice on Feb. 9, when he went up for a ball and landed awkwardly, damaging the meniscus in his left knee. Jolley had previously undergone surgery to repair a torn ACL and cartilage in the same knee in 1997. In other news, the Galaxy won its first preseason exhibition 4-1 over the Pacific Coast All-Stars before 1,200 fans at Santa Barbara high school. Danny Pena, Welton, Mike Mucino and Lawrence Lozzano scored for Los Angeles.
