Kansas City forward Josh Wolff, who has been replaced by New England's Steve Ralston on the USA's Gold Cup roster because of a knee injury, will undergo surgery Friday to repair ligaments in his right knee.

His recovery time will not be determined until after the operation. Wolff suffered serious knee injuries in 1999 and last year shortly upon returning from World Cup duty.
