Two games on the Tampa Bay Mutiny’s 1999 home schedule are being changed to avoid conflicts with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and two others have time changes in anticipation of the league’s national television schedule. The two games that are changing are the August 14 Raymond James Stadium match with Colorado and the August 28 RJS match with Columbus. Both games have moved up a day. The Colorado match will be played on Friday, August 13 at 7:30 p.m. and the Columbus game will be played on Friday, August 27 at 7:30 p.m. The time changes involve the July 8 match with San Jose and the Oct. 10 regular season finale with the Dallas Burn. The starting time for the San Jose game will move from 8 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and the starting time for the Burn battle moves from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Both games are expected to be part of the league’s national TV package, which is in the final development stages and should be announced soon.
