MLS: Simutenkov leads Wizards past MetroStars

Kansas City beat the MetroStars, 2-0, on a pair of goals by Igor Simutenkov Friday at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale.

The MetroStars were without the injured Clint Mathis, Tim Howard, and Jaime Moreno. U-20s Ricardo Clark and Mike Magee will return, though, after the postponement of the World Yotuh Championship. The MetroStars gave forward Tommy Mooney, most recently of Sheffield Wednesday, a look.
