Shortly after Landon Donovan had given San Jose a 1-0 lead over New England, RevsÆ defender Mauricio Wright slid in front of a Manny Lagos shot on goal and blocked it with his arm. Wright was ejected and San Jose scored, through Donovan, on the ensuing penalty kick. The Earthquakes had little problem controlling the game and adding to their lead after that. Junior Agogo scored twice and Lagos once for a 5-1 QuakesÆ win. The RevsÆ goal came on a Cate penalty kick. Aug. 8 in Foxboro, Mass.
