MLS has fined Tampa Bay Mutiny midfielder Ivan McKinley $750 and suspended him for two games “for his deliberate and violent head butt of Los Angeles Galaxy defender Paul Caligiuri” in Tampa’s 3-2 win on June 28. McKinley will miss Tampa’s home match on July 4 against the MetroStars, as well as the Mutiny’s showdown with D.C. United on July 6.
