Major League Soccer signed William and Mary and U.S. U-23 National Team goalkeeper Adin Brown. Brown, a two-time first-team all-American, played on the U.S. team that finished third at the ’99 Pan-American Games. He enters the year as the No. 1 keeper on the under-23 that will play in the TFC Olympic qualifying tournament in Hershey, Pa., in April. MLS made a preemptive strike to keep Brown in the United States. Brown, whose father played football at W&M, follows Tribe keepers Dusty Hudock and Paul Grafer in MLS.
