Ignace Moleka scored in the 65th minute to extend FIU’s lead to 3-0.
The goal was the results of a beautiful combination of passes between Moleka, Alen Kozic, and Danny Vargas. The latter finally latched onto a pass from Kozic and took the ball into the penalty area. Vargas then beat Charlotte defender Jim Kunevicius and slid a pass across the goal for Moleka to knock in from about six yards.
