NCAA Men’s Game Update: St. John’s 2 Creighton 1 (65th min.)

Jesse Van Saun scored in the 63rd minute to give St. John’s a 2-1 lead over Creighton in their semifinal match.

Creighton defender Geoff Huber lost the ball in his own half to Ricardo Joseph of St. John’s. Joseph quickly passed the ball into the penalty area to Jimmy Buscemi, who faked out a defender and sent the ball to Carlo Acquista, who was marked in front of the goal. Acquista played tha ball back out to Van Saun, who curved it into the right corner of the net from about 15 yards out.
