Ben Olsen scored in the 19th minute to give Virginia a 1-0 lead over Saint Louis in their NCAA semifinal match. Saint Louis keeper Casey Klipfel mishit a free kick, and the ball went straight to Virginia forward Brian West. As Olsen cut across into the box, West sent a perfect pass to him and Biliken defender Tim Costello slipped, leaving Olsen free to beat Klipfel with a shot to the left post.
