At halftime, Portland is leading Notre Dame 2-0 in the NCAA Women’s semifinals.
Regina Holan has scored twice for Portland: once in the second minute off of a free kick by Justi Baumgardt, and again in the 30th minute when she blasted an 18-yard shot after a brilliant run by teammate Tara Koleski.
Notre Dame has had the bulk of the possession but has failed to capitalize on several good scoring opportunities.
