Tim Schulz is the new U.S. U-20 women's national team head coach. Schulz, president and CEO of the Colorado Rush youth program since 2000, will take over a team that moves from the U-19 to U-20 level as FIFA shifts its only world championship for youth women up a year after previously holding U-19 world championships in 2002 and 2004. The 2006 U-20 women's world championship will be played in Russia.
