Fans of the Bundesliga team that ends Bayern Munich's record winning streak — currently at 15 games – will be given 10,000 liters (2,643 gallons) of beer by the Bitburger brewery.
Supporters of Hamburg SV, which faces Bayern Saturday, have the first chance at the dry, full-bodied pilsner.
''We're hoping that this will encourage the fans to cheer on their teams even more vigorously,'' Bitburger spokesman Dietmar Henle told Bild newspaper. ''Nothing against Bayern, but there must be some excitement.''
Bitburger will increase its offer by 1,000 liters after each game that Bayern doesn't lose.
