Following their game against Palmeiras on Sunday, Botafogo players struggled to get the hot water to work in the showers. Lopes was then suddenly struck by a burst of scalding water that inflicted second-degree burns on his face. Doctors have told him to avoid sunlight for 30 to 40 days.
