Four months ago, Universitatea Craiova won promotion to the Romanian First Division. Then it managed to reach 11th place during the first half of the season.
That wasn't good enough for Craiova owner Adrian Mititelu, who dumped nine of his players and loaned out another four.
Craiova has until March 3, when the season returns from winter break, to replenish its roster.
