Despite finding itself more than $100 million in debt, German club Borussia Dortmund has turned down a sponsorship offer from Beate Uhse, Europe's largest erotic goods company.
The decision will no doubt please one of the club's members: Pope John II was made an honorary member of Borussia Dortmund in January during an audience with midfielder Sebastian Kehl and defender Christoph Metzelder.
