Guatemala has clinched a place in the semifinals of the final round of TFC Olympic qualifying thanks to a 1-1 tie with Mexico. The Guatemalans have four points after having opened with a 2-1 win over Panama. The USA, which opened with a 3-0 win over Honduras, plays Canada on Tuesday. The USA would clinch first place in its group with a tie. Both semifinal winners qualify for Syndey.
