The United States got the first look at its opponent in the second round 2004 Olympic men's qualifying Sunday when Dominica and St. Kitts & Nevis battled in the first leg of their first-round series in Grand Bay, Dominica.

Jevon Francis' 30-minute goal gave the visiting team a 1-0 victory to the dismay of 3,000 fans at the Geneva Playing Field.

The return leg will be played Oct. 11 at Basseterre's Warner Park. The USA U-23s will face the winner in mid-November. Seven teams will join host Mexico in the final round of qualifying next year.
