Ryan Suarez, a California native of Uruguayan descent, has moved from the Los Angeles Galaxy, for which he started last season on the backline, to Chivas USA in exchange for a Conditional Draft pick in the 2006 MLS SuperDraft. The 27-year-old played two full seasons for Dallas before joining L.A. in the middle of the 2003 season.
