[MLS] Forward Pat Noonan, who had helped New England to three runner-up finishes before spending 2008 with Norwegian club Aalesund, has joined the Columbus Crew.
Noonan, 28, played five seasons for the Revs, appearing in 119 games and notching 37 goals and 29 assists.
He goes to the Crew via New England, which receives allocation money, the Crew’s natural first-round selection in the 2009 MLS SuperDraft and allocation table considerations.
