After referee Vitalie Onica awarded a penalty kick for Politehnica Chisinau against Roso Floreni in Moldova, he had to dodge not bottles or coins but a car driven onto the field by Roso chairman Mihai Macovei.
Onica evaded several attempts by Macovei to run him over before Macovei drove off the field and was intercepted by police. The Moldovan soccer federation fined Macovei $1,900.
