In the Belgian First Division, Anderlecht's Walter Bassegio popped the ball on his 64th-minute shot but it sailed into La Louviere goal, deflated bladder and all. Anderlecht went on to win, 2-1, but La Louviere is protesting the result to the Belgian federation, pointing out that the rules say that a match should be stopped if the ball bursts. The ref said he didn't noticed it had popped until after it entered the net.
