Discussion Area Restored
We appreciate your patience while our Internet Service Provider has been busy trying to figure out how to fix the programming problems which repeatedly caused the discussion area to crash and burn. The basic problem is a nice one to have — the area had gotten so popular that the volume was more than the programming could handle. This problem consists of two aspects: 1) the sheer number of articles posted and 2) problems when there are too many articles posted simultaneously.
The area is now back up and running. Pending a decision about our future programming options, our intent is to limit the amount of time an article stays online. This addresses the first problem. The second problem will be monitored closely. Please send us email if you notice anything amiss and we will check it out as soon as we can.
