Erin O'Grady scored two goals and Meghan Moore added a couple assists as the Boston Renegades captured their second successive W-League title Saturday night, pulling away in the second half to a 3-0 victory over the Charlotte Lady Eagles at Swangard Stadium in Burnaby, British Columbia.

Moore fed Rebekah Splaine in the 23rd minute to put the Renegades ahead, and O'Grady tallied in the 54th and 61st minutes — the latter on a Moore assist — as Boston extended its advantage to three goals.

The Renegades (15-1-0) won the W-1 League title in 2001, and Charlotte won the W-2 League title. The leagues were combined into one competition this season.

Charlotte (14-3-1), which has reached a W-League final in all three years of its existence (winning only in 2001), showed signs of fatigue after playing final four host Vancouver Breakers 120 minutes before triumphing on penalty kicks in Friday's semifinals. Boston beat the Denver Lady Cougars in the other semifinal.
