New England Revolution striker Taylor Twellman thinks he deserves a raise. The 26-year-old earns $120,000 per year. “When you see the players’ union numbers and I am not among the highest-paid, it’s frustrating,” Twellman told the Boston Globe’s Frank Dell’Apa. In fact, Twellman leads the league in scoring over the last five seasons, having netted 73 times in all. The league’s stalling has called Twellman to question the commitment of MLS: “It’s not me having a bad attitude,” he said. “I have worked my rear end off for four years and I don’t see any sign of a commitment.”
