With American Jonny Walker in goal, Chilean club Universidad Catolica picked up its second win in the Libertadores Cup with a 2-1 win over Brazilian power Flamengo Wednesday night in Santiago. Catolica is in second place, tied with Colombian club Once Caldas, one point behind Group 8 leader Olimpia of Paraguay. Catolica has two games remaining: April 2 at Olimpia and April 10 against Once Caldas in Santiago. Walker, the first American to play in the Libertadores Cup, could do nothing on Felipe Melo’s early goal from 20 yards for Flamengo. For the most part, Walker didn’t have a lot of action.
