American striker Conor Casey, who has 13 German Second Division goals this season, is only one point above the relegation zone with Karlsruhe and faces a crucial match against second-to-last-place Union Berlin. At the other end of the German Second Division standings, Nuremberg (Tony Sanneh) has clinched promotion while Energie Cottbus (Gregg Berhalter) will try to climb back into the promotion zone. Berhalter, a defender, scored his fifth goal of the season last week in 1-1 tie with Luebeck.

Hannover 96 (Steve Cherundolo & Clint Mathis) faces Wolfsburg and will secure its First Division status with a win (or a tie, depending Munich 1860's result).

In England, Kasey Keller (Tottenham) will become the only American to play every game of this English Premier League if he plays on the last day of the English Premier League season.
