Pairings for the U.S. Open Cup semifinals were announced today by U.S. Soccer Secretary General Hank Steinbrecher.
The Colorado Rapids of MLS will travel to Rochester to face the A-League’s Rhinos, who stunned the Tampa Bay Mutiny in the quarterfinals. In the other semifinal, D.C. United will meet the Dallas Burn in Texas.
Dates and times have yet to be determined, but the matches are expected to take place in mid to late October.
