Goalkeeper Jenni Branam has replaced Briana Scurry for the second straight tournament, the inaugural Women’s Gold Cup, because Scurry continues to suffer from shin splints. The 19-year-old Branam also replaced Scurry, the World Cup ’99 starter, at the recent Pacific Cup in Australia.
