Mia Hamm's goal in stoppage time, the 158th goal of her international career, gave the United States a 1-1 tie with Denmark, before 18,885 fans Wednesday night at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.

The tie extended the Americans' unbeaten run to 21 games, though it was their first blemish in eight games on the Fan Celebration Tour.

Denmark put the U.S. behind in a game for the first time in 15 matches when Merete Pedersen beat Brandi Chastain to a ball on the right flank and calmly looped a chip over an on-rushing Briana Scurry and into the empty net in the eighth minute.

The USA next heads to Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia for a second clash with Denmark on Saturday, Nov. 6 (TV: ESPN2, live, 3:55 p.m. ET). The tour will conclude the illustrious careers of Hamm, Julie Foudy and Joy Fawcett on Dec. 8 against Mexico (8 p.m. PT) at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif.
