U.S. midfielder Tab Ramos — injured late in the U.S. win over Trinidad & Tobago when he was tackled by a defender while charging toward the T&T goal —
is out 4-6 months.

An MRI performed yesterday revealed Ramos, who plays for MLS’s MetroStars, injured the anterior crcuiate ligament in his left knee. U.S. team doctor Bert Mandelbaum expects Ramos to fully recover in 4-6 months.

Ramos is to undergo reconstructive surgery within two weeks at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, N.C.
