The United States will play Paraguay in an international friendly on Sunday, July 6, at Columbus Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio (TV, live, ESPN2, 3 pm ET).
The game will fall between the Confederations Cup (June 18-29) and Gold Cup (July 12-23).
The U.S. and Paraguay have meet three times. The Americans won, 3-0, in the inaugural World Cup on July 17, 1930, in Uruguay. They played to a 0-0 tie in 1997 in Fenton, Mo., a 2-2 tie in San Diego in 1998.
It will be the fourth U.S. men's international at Columbus Crew Stadium. The Americans beat Mexico, 2-0, in 2001 in a memorable 2002 World Cup qualifier and tied Costa Rica, 0-0, in 2000 in the semifinal round of 2002 qualifying and tied Ecuador by the same score in a 2001 friendly.
