Former Atlanta Beat defenders Julie and Nancy Augustyniak meet up with ex-UCLA standout Tracey Winzen on Sunday when FFC Turbine Potsdam is home against VfL Wolfsburg in German League action.
Turbine, featuring the Augustyniak twins, are one point behind FFC Frankfurt in the Frauen-Bundesliga. Wolfsburg, with Winzen (who was in the San Diego Spirit's preseason camp last year), is in ninth place in the 12-team league, but it is closer to sixth place than the relegation zone.
This weekend's second matchday of the Swedish League schedule features Kopparbergs/Goteborg (with goalkeeper Hope Solo) and Malmo FF (with defender Denise Reddy), both coming off victories, playing home openers.
