Former Atlanta Beat striker Conny Pohlers scored a hat trick and Petra Wimbersky added two goals as visiting FFC Turbine Potsdam routed FFC Frankurt, 7-2, Sunday to capture its first German League women's title.

Nancy Augustyniak started and her twin sister, Julie, came on as a late substitute in the decisive match, Turbine's second one-sided win in two weeks over four-time defending Frauen-Bundesliga champion Frankfurt. Turbine topped Frankfurt, 3-0, in the German League final on May 27.

Anja Mittag and Viola Odebrecht also scored for Turbine (20-1-1), which took a ninth-minute lead through Pohlers and extended it to 3-0 by halftime of Wimbersky's goals. Frankfurt's goals came from penalty kicks by Pia and Tina Wunderlich.

Turbine also won Hallencup — the third German competition — this season and will represent Germany in next season's UEFA Women's Cup. Frankfurt failed to win a trophy for the first time since its 1998 formation.
