Atlanta Beat defender Kylie Bivens and San Diego Spirit goalkeeper Jaime Pagliarulo, absent from U.S. preparations this year for the Women's World Cup, were among 23 players called into the camp prior to the Americans' June 14 friendly with Ireland in Salt Lake City.
Coach April Heinrichs will choose an 18-player roster for the game at Rice-Eccles Stadium, part of a doubleheader with a USL Pro Select League match.
Bivens, who has seven caps, has had a sensational first two months of the season at right back for Atlanta. Pagliarulo, who has made three international appearances, has rebounded nicely from a rough 2002 season with the Spirit.
Washington goalkeeper Siri Mullinix, the likely No. 2 goalkeeper this fall, was left off the roster. The Freedom plays a midweek game during the U.S. camp; Heinrichs called in goalkeepers Briana Scurry, LaKeysia Beene and Pagliarulo.
Philadelphia defender Heather Mitts, who saw action last month against England, was not selected for the roster, but her Charge teammate Lorrie Fair was called up. Fair was not selected for the game roster in the past two U.S. matches.
