Montreal followed up clinching a spot last week by ensuring a bye to the semis this week, while Rochester, Charleston and Vancouver joined the Impact in the postseason.
The Battery did so in impressive fashion, earning seven points of nine on a West Coast swing with a draw in Vancouver and wins at Seattle and Portland.
Miami is in the driver's seat for one of the two remaining playoff spots. Also in the hunt are Seattle, Atlanta and Puerto Rico. Miami faces Puerto Rico twice this week, and Seattle and Atlanta will square off in matches that will have enormous bearing on who advances to the postseason.
