American goalkeeper Jonny Walker had one of his best matches of the season, perhaps of his career, in a 1-0 victory over his former team, Universidad Catolica in the Chilean League quarterfinals.
Since Catolica had won the first of the two legs, the series was decided on penalty kicks after a 30 scoreless minutes of extra time. Although Colo Colo had the edge in posssession throughout the match, Catolica fired numerous quality shots Walker's way, only to see them turned aside.
Colo Colo advances to host Universidad de Concepcion on Thursday, then plays the second leg Sunday on the road.
