Winners:

The USA trailed Honduras for nearly an hour but notched two goals with time running out for a 2-1 semifinal Gold Cup win. Defender Oguchi Onyewu struck with a diving header two minutes into stoppage time off a bending Landon Donovan free kick to notch the gamewinner and his first international goal. Six minutes earlier John O'Brien shot low into the goal from six yards to tie the game.

Winger Ricardo Phillips scored twice to lead PANAMA past Colombia, 3-2, in their Gold Cup semifinal, a thriller featuring end-to-end action. The win was the second for Panama against Colombia at the Gold Cup and moved it into the final against the United States on Sunday at Giants Stadium.

FC DALLAS has re-signed Eddie Johnson, tied for the MLS goalscoring lead in 2004, to a multi-year contract. The 21-year-old's eight goals in eight U.S. internationals drew the attention of European clubs. His original contract was due to expire December 2006.

Losers:

U.S. coach BRUCE ARENA was ejected for the first time in his national team tenure for using a four-letter word while protesting a call during the semifinal against Honduras. With assistant coach Glenn Myernick taking over, the Americans overcame a 1-0 deficit to win, 2-1. Arena must sit out Sunday's final against Panama unless he wins his appeal.

REAL MADRID's lawsuit against one Spanish and two British betting companies for using its name and images of its players was rejected by a French court.
