Singer Peter Gabriel will head the musical lineup for the opening ceremonies June 7 at the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
They will include hip-hop group The Black Eyed Peas and soprano Jessye Norman.
Gabriel and fellow British musician Brian Eno will be the creative team for the event.
Tickets for the ceremony will cost up to $879 each.
The two-hour ceremony will take place two days before the opening match.
